Agatha
Corcoran is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received a
Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of Toronto
where she specialized in Addictions and Mental Health. While on-site
completing her MSW, Agatha received extensive training and education
at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in individual/group
therapy as well as the latest therapeutic methods used to conduct
comprehensive (three hour) Biopsychosocial/Addiction Assessments.
Prior to completing her MSW, Agatha earned a Bachelor of Social
Work Degree and a Certificate of Criminology from Memorial
University of Newfoundland where she gained valuable experience
working in areas related to military families, adult probation
and gambling addictions. Agatha has extensive experience in Crisis
Intervention and Suicide Prevention, which has been enhanced by
her employment at the Mental Health Crisis Centre. She is well
versed and experienced in matters related to parenting, foster
parenting, life transitions and women's issues and has extensive
experience in volunteering and community development (See BIO
